There is a daily train from Sofia to Halkali. Consist of the train includes turkish couchette and sleeping cars.

Tickets and reservations are available for sale 2 (two) months in advance.
NOTE:
Given the upcoming repair works on the railway infrastructure on the territory of
the Plovdiv railway junction, which will lead to adjustments in the routes and
timetables of the international trains from Sofia to Halkali and back, the advance
sale of tickets and reservations is limited to a certain period. After receiving
official information from the National Railway Infrastructure Company regarding
the scope, start date and duration of these repairs, we will publish the changes in a
timely manner.
Reductions are not applicable for youths, groups and return tickets.
Tickets Plovdiv-Halkali-Plovdid and Dimitrovgrad-Halkali-Dimitrovgrad are also available.
VALIDITY OF TICKETS
- One-way ticket – 15 days
- Return ticket – 1 month
Validity begins on the date shown on the ticket. Passengers may start their trip on any day of validity but they must end it on a train which is scheduled to arrive at their destination by 24:00 on the last day of validity.
RETURN POLITICY
If the passenger cancels the trip prior or within the period of validity, he will be refunded up to 90% of the paid price.
If couchette or sleeping reservation is cancelled one or more days prior to departure, the passanger will be refunded up to 90% of its price. If couchette or sleeping reservation is cancelled on the day of departure, the reservation fare won’t be refunded.
