Sightseeing Trips on Vintage Rolling Stock

The Bulgarian State Railways have existed for more than 130 years, during which time the rolling stock has constantly changed and continues to be modernized, but nostalgia for steam locomotives and vintage railcars remains. A “journey” back in time is possible with steam locomotives 01.23, 46.03, 05.01, 03.12, the narrow-gauge 60976, and the diesel railcar 19 001.7, along with the carriages from the “Korona Express” and “Vitosha Express” trainsets and the restored carriages from the narrow-gauge retro rolling stock.

To arrange a sightseeing trip, a written request must be submitted to "HOLDING BDZ" EAD at least 30 days before the planned travel date. The request should preferably include: the preferred route and approximate travel date, the rolling stock, and the number of passengers.
