
„Музей на транспорта” – гр. Русе
The magnificent railway station complex (designed and built between 1864 and 1866) features three museum exhibits open to visitors:
- “The Old Train Station” – It presents key milestones in the development of rail transport in Bulgaria and the connection between the railroad and passenger shipping on the Danube River.
- “Park-Museum” – train sets from the mid-19th century and the mid-20th century, freight cars, and specialized railcars.
- Unique “salon cars” – for the most prestigious journeys on the First and Second Government Trains. Among the royalty who had the privilege of traveling in them were Sultan Abdul Aziz, Empress Eugenia, Princess Clementine, His Royal Highness Prince Alexander Battenberg, His Royal Highness Ferdinand I, His Royal Highness Boris III, and others.
